At
the
end
of
October
2015
the
company
DEME,
specialised
in
dredging,
land
reclamation,
offshore-projects
and
port
infrastructure
development,
docked
in
Antwerp
with
two
of
their
flagships
for
a
company
party
after
they
were
chosen
'onderneming
van
het
jaar',
or
'company
of
the
year'.
The
Offshore
Construction
Jack-Up
'Innovation'
lifted
itself
from
the
water
at
the
Rijnkaai
on
Wednesday
evening.
On
Saturday
October
31st
the
hopper
dredger
'Congo
River'
joined
the
ship
at
the
quays.
The
ships
were
only
open
to
visit
for
DEME-employees,
but
they
also
attracted
many
people
that
were
curious
to
see
the
impressive
ships.
It
was
the
second
time Congo River docked in Antwerp in 2015. In July the ship was open for visitors at the cruise terminal during the start of the Tour de France.
